Structural Integration
Structural Integration is a type of massage that focuses on the fascia. The fascia are envelopes and bands of connective tissue that surround our muscles and organs. The ultimate goal of Structural Integration is to physically balance both your body and your freedoms of movement, or structure. It can also optimize both structure and function.
The success of Structural Integration comes through the 10 session series. This is a 2-hour session focusing on a different aspect of the treatment process. The last few sessions bring everything together and focus on the final structural integration.
This very specialized treatment is very similar to, but not technically considered a form of massage. Structural Integration is a full-body experience that will leave your muscles stronger and your entire body more in balance.
Treatment Expectations
The ten sessions of Structural Integration are scheduled in a very specific order. Results of this treatment depend on the improvement of all the sessions. No two patients will have the same experience.
- Superficial Back Line
- Superficial Front Line
- Lateral Lines
- Spiral Line
- Shoulder and Arm Lines
- Functional Line
- Lower Deep Front Line
- Upper Deep Front Line
- Final Integration
- Final Integration
Every session works the fascia from the feet up to constantly and repeatedly get the body into alignment through a strong foundation at the feet supporting the alignment of the structure all the way up to the neck and head.

Frequently Asked Questions
It is not uncommon for stresses from the past are part of the cause of your body being out of balance. Nobody can predict how any individual will respond to this, and a strong emotional response is possible. Ultimately, the whole process is very cleansing though.
Structural Integration may cause you some discomfort during the sessions. However, the pain will not be any worse than what you suffer from day-to-day. By the end of the series, your chronic pain should significantly improve to a more comfortable level. Always communicate with your therapist as to the level of your discomfort.
Everyone at any age would see benefits from Structural Integration; however, certain medical conditions might preclude it. Always check with your doctor before beginning treatment and if you have any questions.
I have been seeing Dr. Scott for several years. He helped me through 2 awful car accidents. I would highly recommend him as he has helped me get back on my feet and now I only have to do check-ins a couple times a year(which is an improvement from daily after my accidents)! He is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to get to know you as a patient so that he can assist you with your recovery in the best way possible!

This guy is insanely good. Or maybe its because other chiropractors in Fort Collins are all so bad, but I went in with a dislocated rib and winged scapula and he loosened my spine up and went to work. I’m going in for a second session tomorrow but I already feel tremendous improvement in my back/shoulder. He doesn’t do light adjustments – he gets in there and fixes it with immense effectiveness (yes, the cracking will be loud).

Fantastic! Yesterday was my first time ever seeing a chiropractor. Dr. Scott is very knowledgable and is excitable to have conversation with. He definitely treated me like a patient (like a doctor should) but the conversations were also personal, which made me feel easy. There was an issue with my medical card so I had to pay for it with a gift card. Once I called the company and came back to the office, Dr. Scott was very quick to take care of the refund and charge the correct card. Not one minute was a bad experience. Thank you!
